Rosen College Counseling

Helping students navigate the college planning process with the goal of successfully applying to and choosing a "best fit" college.

The College Planning Process

Michelle Rosen, founder of Rosen College Consulting, believes that every student's pathway to college is unique. Her highest priority is to identify and understand a student's goals and then become part of the support team to help achieve them. Whether you need a cheerleader or a task-master, an essay coach, or a balanced college list, or you just want an application that brings out your best possible self, Michelle will design an approach intensely focused on helping you achieve college admissions success.

All client relationships start with a free half-hour joint consultation with parents and students to help determine what level of support is the best fit. Clients can choose from among several services, all available in-person or virtually:

Comprehensive Package

Ideally suited to juniors and rising seniors, this package consists of about 12 or more monthly meetings from the winter or spring of junior year through the spring of the senior year, with guided activities designed to enhance college readiness, identify “best fit” colleges, and apply strategically to those colleges in a timely and stress-free way.

Concierge Packages

No-Frills College List Package

Designed for high school juniors who are self-starters and want to launch their search with a balanced college list that fits their personal, financial, and academic profile / criteria.

Boot Camp Package

Designed for rising seniors in summer/fall (after August 1), this package is ideal for students starting a little later who need to jumpstart their college application process with a structured and manageable plan of action.

Hourly Support

Because every student’s needs are unique, hourly plans offer tailored support to fit a variety of needs, including early-bird planning for sophomores, essay and interview coaching, transfer advising, and more.
